So we went to see the fireworks, because apparantly this is the largest and most expensive firework display in Illinois. In Rockford? Who slipped up there? Shouldn’t they be holding it in Chicago? Well no-one has noticed it yet, although for Rockford residents it’s amusing to watch non-natives get through the rougher areas, only to come back and find a their car missing along with the young gentleman who offered to watch it for $5.
Rockford Nihilist Society (RNS) would have been present at the festivities, but a statement recieved earlier in the day said that they ‘couldn’t be bothered.’
(That last part isn’t true, in case you were wondering.)
